29 CFR 1926.150(c)(1)(vi): A fire extinguisher, rated not less than 10B, was not provided within 50 feet of wherever more than 5 gallons of flammable or combustible liquids or 5 pounds of flammable gas were being used on the jobsite. Bldg. 6005: On or about October 17th, 2024, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure a fire extinguisher was provided for employee use. Employee(s) used a 5-gallon gas can to conduct roofing activities. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to fire hazard(s).
