29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. Two trenches in the vicinity of 1651 O.T. Tyler Drive, Belton TX: On or about October 10, 2024, employees were using a chipping hammer while performing underground utility work that was powered by a yellow extension cord that had strain relief damage.
