29 CFR 1910.95(d)(1): When information indicated that any employee's exposure equaled or exceed the 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels, the employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program: At the shooting range located at 116 E. Fletcher Avenue, Florida: a) An Assistant General Manager was exposed to noise dose levels at 211.2% of the allowable 8-hour TWA-Action Limit (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA level of 211.2% is 95.4 dBA. The sampling was performed for 240-minutes during one shift on November 8, 2024. The employee had not been monitored for noise exposure by the employer. b) A Range Safety Officer was exposed to noise dose levels at 537.7% of the allowable 8-hour TWA-Action Limit (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA level of 537.7% is 102.1 dBA. The sampling was performed for 138-minutes during one shift on November 8, 2024. The employee had not been monitored for noise exposure by the employer. c) A Range Safety Officer was exposed to noise dose levels at 174.9% of the allowable 8-hour TWA-Action Limit (85 dBA).
