29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a). Alfred Nickels Bakery, Inc. on or about September 4, 2024, at the location of 1950 N. Sugar St. Lima, Ohio 45801: The employer did not ensure Line 400, UBE bagger number four (Model 1216AL/SN 1116) "bag tucker" was adequately guarded. Due to this condition, employees tasked with loading bags onto the bag table were exposed to caught in hazards created between by movement of the bag tucker. Alfred Nickle's Bakery, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1527759, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 2, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 1950 N. Sugar St. Lima, OH 45801.
