29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): The employer permitted employees to work in close proximity to energized, unguarded, and ungrounded electric power circuits that the employee could contact in the course of their work: (a) On or about August 16, 2024, at the jobsite located at 12303 S. Harold Ave. Palos Heights, Illinois, employees were not protected against contact with energized overhead power lines, exposing them to electrical shock, while performing residential roofing work. The overhead power lines consisted of secondary lines having a voltage rating of 120/240 Volts.
