29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): Traffic control devices, including signs, signals, markings, barricades, and other devices, used for protection of construction workers did not conform to Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways, 2009 Edition, December 2009 (including Revision 1 dated May 2012 and Revision 2 dated May 2012). On or about August 2nd, 2024 Location: Washington Bridge, 2/10 miles east of Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY 10032 a) Employees were exposed to vehicular collision while working between the back of the attenuator truck and the lane-merging taper barrels without the presence of an advance shadow vehicle. b) Employees were exposed to vehicular collision while working on the roadway with a lane-merging taper length shorter than required.
