29 CFR 1910.135(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee wear a protective helmet when working in areas where there is a potential for injury to the head from falling objects: a) Production Department; Unload and Load Areas: On August 13, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that the employer does not provide and require employees to wear head protection as they load and retrieve metal parts from hangers on the overhead conveyor system of the E-Coat & Liquid Line.
