29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: a) On or about July 11, 2024, at the U.S. Immigration, Customs and Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, Ponce: Intel Office - a 2.5 pounds fire extinguisher, brand Kidde, serial number ZJ-254955, was not mounted on the wall, exposing employees to fire hazards. NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.
