29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gasses or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: (a) Long Bend Drive Lot #42 Carlisle, PA - On or about July 5, 2024, employees were using tools, including but not limited to pneumatic nail guns, without any means of eye protection, exposing them to struck by hazards from flying particles. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
