29 CFR 1910.120(g)(2): An appropriate combination of engineering controls, work practices, and personal protective equipment was not used to reduce and maintain employee exposures to or below published exposure levels for hazardous substances and health hazards not regulated by 29 car Part 1910, Subparts G and Z: On June 7, 2024, and times prior thereto, an employee refurbishing a 1000-gal tank did not have safe engineering controls, work practices and proper personal protective equipment for the task. The employer did not ensure the employee had on proper FRCs to do the work he was scheduled for and sustained major burns.
