29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2):Employees were not protected from excavated or other materials or equipment that could pose a hazard by falling or rolling into excavations, or by a combination of both if necessary: On or about June 17, 2024, the employer did not ensure that soil spoil piles from the excavation were more than 2 feet from the excavation in which employees were observed working. At the time of inspection the soil pile was placed directly next to and near the edge of the excavation.
