OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fall hazard. (a) Workover rig - On or about June 4, 2024, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while working from the tubing/monkey board of a workover rig that did not have an auxiliary means of escape installed prior to personnel working on the elevated fixed platform.
