29 CFR 1910.147(d):The established procedure for the application of energy control (the lockout or tagout procedures) did not cover the actions listed in and was not done in sequence as required by 29 CFR 1910.147(d)(1)-(6): a) Leadec Corp located at 799 Abbe Road, Sheffield Lake, Ohio, 44054: On or about April 26, 2024, employees were exposed to hazards such as, struck by hazards in that the overhead carrier conveyor in the Paint Department was not deenergized prior to employees engaging in tank cleaning activities. The employer failed to ensure that energy control application steps were implemented to control hazardous electrical and mechanical energy sources.
