29 CFR 1917.43(b)(8): The employer did not direct drivers of powered industrial trucks to slow down and sound the horn at cross aisles and other locations where visibility was obstructed. On or about April 18, 2024, an operator of a Taylor TX550 Forklift was offloading cargo from the ASAHI vessel on dock #24, where there were multiple employees working, and did not sound the horn while carrying steel coils. The operator drove with the load in front in the raised position obstructing clear line of vision while approaching a high traffic area.
