29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i):The employer did not select and have each affected employee use, the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee(s) from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment: a) On or about March 19, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to the hazards of working with hot fryer oil where the employer did not enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment when transporting and disposing of hot oil. An employee suffered serious burns when disposing of hot oil which had been drained from the Pitco Deep Fryer.
