29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. (a) On or about March 28, 2024, at the job site located at N57W18723 Dandelion Court, Menomonee Falls WI, employees were installing roof sheathing with pneumatic nail guns without the use of eye protection. The JC Siding LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1643732, citation number 1, item number 2 b, and was affirmed as a final order on 3/24/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 1825 Yorkville Meadows, Union Grove, WI 53182.
