29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1): The employer shall establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided in this paragraph by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels. On or about March 20, 2024, the employer failed to implement an audiometric testing program for employees exposed to occupational noise hazards while working on presses such as 491, 386, and 192 and the cold forming, the green machine, and the big line during their 8-hour shifts. Employees were exposed to occupational noise between 86.9 - 91.8 dBA for an 8-hour time-weighted average.
