OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: On or about March 11, 2024, at the instruction of an OEM employee, an operator in the lamination and stacking assembly area used the safety control system (SCS) to clean the Ultium Cells L&S 8-3 Stacking upper belt. The employer did not provide adequate training on the purpose and function of the HMI pendant and dead-man pendant for cleaning this part of the belt.
