29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about March 4, 2024 at the job site located at 3874 Kenway Blvd, Uniontown Ohio 44685; during the installation of roofing material on a residential roof, the employer did not ensure portable ladders extend 3 feet above the upper landing surface. MEJIA ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.1053(B)(1) Ladders), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1619527, citation number 02, item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on (12/1/2022), with respect to a workplace located at 9220 Wellspring Ave NW, N.
