29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a) On or about 2/26/2024 at a roof project located at Grant Boulevard, Lot 48B/A, Lackawanna, New York; employees were placing shingles on the roof of a new house. Employees were using extension ladders to access the work area on the roof. The ladders extended 1 foot above the landing surface. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
