29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer shall assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): On or about February 27, 2024, an employee marking pallets was exposed to hazardous chemicals, and the employer had not conducted an effective personal protective equipment hazard assessment to include the use of hand/eye protection.
