29 CFR 1926.503(c)(3):Inadequacies in an affected employee's knowledge or use of fall protection systems or equipment indicate that the employee did not retain the requisite understanding or skill. Residential Construction Site: On or about February 26, 2024, an employee engaged in framing activities 6 feet or more above a lower level displayed inadequacies in knowledge and use of fall protection systems indicating a lack of understanding or retention of the skill. This condition exposed the employee to a fall hazard. Salais Builders, LLC, formerly known as Salais Construction, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.503(c)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1629180, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 11-18-2022, with respect to a workplace located at 417 James St, El Paso, TX 79915. Salais Builders, LLC, formerly known as Salais Construction, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.503(c)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 158959, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 5-04-2022, with respect to a workplace located at 621 Country Club Rd., El Paso, TX 79932.
