29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: Smart and Final Meat Department: On and/or before February 20, 2024, the employer did not insure that a plumbed eyewash station was available for their employees to use in case of emergencies where rinsing of the eyes for 15 minutes or more would be necessary. This condition potentially exposed employees to moderate to severe eye irritation and chemical burns.
