29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels are not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor are employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) The employer, Jonas Hershberger dba JMH Roofing LLC, does not ensure each employee performing roofing work activities from an elevated surface is adequately protected from falls. This condition was most recently observed on February 7, 2024, during the installation of a new residential roof at the location of Building #14, Walnut Ridge, Sheffield Village, OH. Employees were exposed to falls of approximately 25 ft to the ground below without the benefit of a fall protection system.
