29 CFR 1910.333(a)(1): Live parts to which an employee may be exposed were not deenergized before the employee worked on or near them, unless the employer could demonstrate that deenergizing introduced additional or increased hazards or was infeasible due to equipment design or operational limitations. On or about December 28, 2023, in the Southwest Power Control Room, employees performed electrical work at an energized 480-volt electrical cabinet without demonstrating that de-energizing the electrical cabinet introduced additional or increased hazards or was infeasible.
