29 CFR 1910.29(b)(10): The employer did not ensure that when guardrail systems were used at hoist areas, a removable guardrail section, consisting of a top rail and midrail, were placed across the access opening between guardrail sections when employees are not performing hoisting operations: a) Mezzanine - On or about December 20, 2024, employees working near hoist areas on the mezzanine were exposed to fall hazards of up to twelve (12) feet because the single chain did not provide a level of safety equivalent to guardrails. Certification not required.
