29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: a) At the Shape Chipper/Canter Line: The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent caught-in and struck-by hazards as demonstrated on or about December 18, 2023, where employees engage in production activities such as, but not limited to, operating the Shape Chipper/Canter Line. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure the chain and sprocket at the outfeed of the Shape Chipper/Canter line are enclosed.
