29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): The employer did not ensure that each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached) where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening was less than 39 inches (1.0 m) above the walking/working surface were protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system: a) Jobsite, 7503 Admiral Peary Highway, Cresson, PA 16630: Observed on or about November 2, 2023, the window openings on the second floor of a two story building were not guarded. The bottom of the window openings were approximately 32 inches above the second-floor walking/working surface. Employees engaged in framing activities on the second floor of the building were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 16 feet 8 inches to the ground below.
