29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about October 19, 2023, employees of Jose Ortiz were performing roofing work at 415 Van Buren Court in Wentzville, Missouri. The employer did not ensure that workers on the roof approximately 11 feet above the lower level were protected by a fall protection system. The employees did not utilize guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system exposing themselves to fall hazards.
