29 CFR 1910.124(i)(2): An employee was permitted to clean the interior of the dip tank before pockets where hazardous vapors may have accumulated were ventilated and cleared:(a) Location: Automated Plating Line, Brite Dip Tank On or about, September 15, 2023, an employee entered the Brite Dip tank on the automated plating line when it had not been ventilated to remove nitric acid and nitric oxide vapors.
