29 CFR 1910.30(a)(1): The employer did not assure that each employee had been trained, as necessary, by a qualified person in the nature of fall hazards in the work area. (a) In the maintenance shop at 122 Mill Road, McDonough, Georgia: On or about September 5, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of more than 13-ft. while using 12-step rolling metal ladders to repair semi-trailers. The employer did not train employees on fall hazards or ladder safety before they used the ladders in the maintenance shop.
