29 CFR 1926.651(e): Employees were allowed to stand beneath a load being handled by lifting or digging equipment at the worksite. Location: 56 King Street, Littleton, MA; On or about 08/16/2023, two employees were recorded working underneath a suspended load from a Komatsu excavator (Model# PC400LC). The employees were working from inside of an unprotected trench excavation and were exposed to being struck-by or crushed-by the overhead suspended load being handled by the excavator.
