29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about July 28, 2023, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of 18 feet above the ground while installing shingles onto the roof of a residential home located at 837 Cranberry Lane Akron, OH 44313, and were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure. Misael Portillo was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1545483, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/2/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 16-36 Preswicke Mill, BLACKLICK, OH 43004.
