29 CFR 1910.23(b)(8): The employer did not ensure that ladders are used only for the purposes for which they were designed. Location: Store #6405 - Tire racks in the rear (Northeast) corner of store. On or about June 15, 2023 two approximately 8-foot tall mobile ladder stands used to access new tires for installation were located next to tire racks measuring approximately 15 feet tall and varying from approximately 2 to 4 feet in depth, exposing employees to a fall hazard by overreaching from the top step.
