29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6 Section 3.3.1 of the CGA Pamphlet P-1-1965 refers to storing cylinders in accordance with CGA and NFPA standards. The CGA Pamphlet P-1-1991 Section 3.7.4.1 states that "All compressed gas cylinders in service or in storage shall be secured to prevent from falling." (a) Jobsite: 9990 Gantry Road, Philadelphia, PA 19115 - On or about June 16, 2023, the employer did not ensure that the storage of compressed gas cylinders, such as an approximately 8lb cylinder containing Argon, was immobilized by chains or other means to prevent from being knocked over, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards.
