29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition was not taken out of service, and/or repairs were not made by authorized personnel. Jobsite: 290 Chambers Road, Toughkenamon, PA 19374 - On or about June 14, 2023, the employer did not ensure a power-operated industrial truck was in safe operating condition. Employees utilized a EastPenn Deka Powered Industrial Truck with a damaged electrical wire on Battery R08-20, thereby exposing employees to electrical hazards.
