29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a) New residential construction located on 241 Montgomery Dr, Stockbridge, GA 30281, roof: On or about 05/30/2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards approximately 19-feet, 4-inches to lower ground level, in that a ladder with extended side rails at least 3-feet past the roof eave was not provided to employees accessing the plate and ground levels. Jose Alejandro Hernandez Garcia was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1560610, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 03-28-2022, with respect to a workplace located at Lot #7 Lauritsen Way, Newnan, GA 30265. Jose Alejandro Hernandez Garcia was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1528422, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on 07-01-2021, with respect to a workplace located at Lot #46 White Spruce Way, Newnan, GA 30265.
