29 CFR 1926.300(b)(2): Moving part(s) of equipment exposed to contact by employees or which otherwise created a hazard, were not guarded: a) 50 Wilson Avenue, New Square, NY: On or about 6/7/23, employees were exposed to unguarded belts, pulley and flywheel when using a compressor to provide air for pneumatic nail guns used for roof sheathing. Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
