29 CFR 1910.268(j)(4)(iv)(E): Hand signals to derrick operators were not those prescribed by ANSI B30.6-1969, "Safety Code for Derricks": On or about June 1, 2023, at the pole staging site, employees moving utility poles with a truck mounted crane used general gestures such as but not limited to verbal, hand waves, to signal the derrick operator in lieu of standardized signals exposing employees to a struck by hazard.
