29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A):Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a) On or about June 1, 2023, the production area, an employee was exposed to an electrical hazard, in that, an extension cord was used in place of fixed wiring and was run across the floor to provide power to the Dynamini Adhesive Supply Unit (serial no. 310253-B) used for gluing cardboard displays. Multi Swatch Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection 1633511, citation number 1, item 3 and was affirmed as a final order on March 10, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 2600 S. 25th Ave., Broadview, Il 60155.
