29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3)(i)(A)(1): When an unqualified person was working in an elevated position near overhead lines with voltages to ground rated at 50 kV or below, the location was not such that the person and the longest conductive object he or she could contact cannot come closer to any unguarded energized overhead line: On or about 05/23/2023, at 6556 SW 85th Street, Miami, Florida, an employee was exposed to an electrical shock hazard and was electrocuted after contacting a 7.62-kV energized overhead power line with a 30-foot Telescoping Aluminum Pole Saw (Notch Seniti, Model #4177-39) while trimming palm fronds that were positioned within 2 feet from the power line.
