29 CFR 1926.350(a)(1): Valve protection cap(s) were not in place on compressed gas cylinder(s): (a) On or about 5/23/2023, at the Paul E. Joseph Stadium in Frederiksted, St. Croix, VI 00820. A 125 Cu/Ft Oxygen Welding Gas Cylinder Tank CGA 540 did not have a valve protection cap while it was stored in the back of the building, exposing employees to hazardous gasses. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item, as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
