29 CFR 1926.701(b): Reinforcing steel. All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and into which employees could fall, shall be guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement. At concrete pour site, next to road: Employees installing retaining wall concrete forms near uncapped rebar were exposed to impalement hazards. Paramount Builders, Ltd. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1604150, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/31/2022, with respect to a workplace located at Malaeimi village.
