29 CFR 1910.272(g)(1)(i): The employer did not issue a permit for entering bins, silos or tanks in the grain handling facility before the employees entered the bins, silos, or tanks: (a) Cedar Head, LLC, 715 Enterprise Road, Colquitt, Georgia; at the grain elevator bins, on or about April 11, 2023, the employer exposed employees to engulfment, atmospheric, and caught-in hazards from stored grain, air quality, and an energized auger system, in that the employer did not issue a permit or otherwise adequately evaluate the hazards prior to employees entering the bin.
