29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Production Area- Employees worked with hazardous chemicals, including, but not limited to, iron oxide and acetone, and the employer did not ensure training was provided at initial assignment or when a new hazard was introduced, on or about March 22, 2023. Abatement certification required. The employer, Custom Container Solutions, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1331956, citation number 02, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 30, 2018, with respect to a workplace location at 391 Wolfland Road, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
