29 CFR 1910.303(f)(2): Services, feeders, and branch circuits. Each service, feeder, and branch circuit, at its disconnecting means or overcurrent device, shall be legibly marked to indicate its purpose, unless located and arranged so the purpose is evident. On or about March 16, 2023, the employer did not ensure each branch circuit, at its disconnecting means or overcurrent device, was legibly marked or identified within electrical panels. The following instances were observed: (a) Circuits inside 120/208 V Panel RPP-1A had multiple circuits within that were not labeled. (b) Circuits inside 120/208 V Panel RPP-1B had multiple circuits within that were not labeled. (c) A 120/208 V electrical panel in the Fish DC next to Panel P-3 was not labeled and the circuits within were not labeled. . Employees are not able to identify energy source(s) while performing lock out tag out, exposing them to electrical shock hazards and injuries. Corrected during inspection.
