29 CFR 1910.146(c)(2): If the workplace contains permit spaces, the employer shall inform exposed employees, by posting danger signs or by any other equally effective means, of the existence and location of and the danger posed by the permit spaces. On or about January 26, 2023, at a facility located at 502 E. Linden Street in Abbotsford, WI; Employees conducting sanitation on equipment, such as but not limited to the RTE-3 freezer, the RTE-2 freezer, the Forming Spiral oven, and Double D1 oven, were not informed by posted danger signs or by any other equally effective means of the existence of those permit spaces or the hazards posed by those permit spaces.
