29 CFR 1910.151(b):There was neither an infirmary, clinic, or hospital used for the treatment of all injured employees in near proximity to the workplace nor a person or persons adequately trained to render first aid: a) ICC Production Floor: On or about 3/9/2023, an employee was instructed to render first aid to another employee with a metal splinter without being trained to perform first aid tasks. A sewing needle was used to attempt to extract the splinter from the injured employee's hand. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
