Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.30(a)(3): Fall hazards. The employer must train each employee in at least the following topics: (i) The nature of the fall hazards in the work area and how to recognize them; (ii) The procedures to be followed to minimize those hazards; a) On and after April 4, 2023, the employer did not ensure that sanitation employees were adequately trained on the fall hazards for sanitation employees working in the Packaging Department on the Cocktail Incline Conveyer above Flex 1 in that they were not trained on the hazards of standing on the midrail on the platform located 12' above the ground. This was last observed on video on April 9, 2023.
