29 CFR 1910.178(n)(4): The driver shall be required to slow down and sound the horn at cross aisles and other locations where vision is obstructed. If the load being carried obstructs forward view, the driver shall be required to travel with the load trailing. Employees were engaged in warehouse activities at a shipping and receiving facility located at 850 Rundell Road, Gering, NE 69341, and were exposed to struck-by hazards in that employees who operate powered industrial trucks travel past locations with an obstructed view, without slowing down and engaging a horn.
